Fees and estimate factors

Pricing follows the size of the claims portfolio, the period under review, and how many applications feed your ledger — not a subscription card.

How we price

Most work is quoted after a short scoping conversation. We look at claim volumes, product lines, the number of posting applications, and whether files must be read on site in Johor Bahru or can be reviewed from secure extracts.

Indicative ranges

EngagementTypical basisIndicative range (MYR)
Claims financial auditFixed fee by portfolio & periodFrom 28,000
Ledger reconciliation reviewFixed short package or day rateFrom 8,500 / or 2,200 per day
Outstanding claims reserve examinationFixed fee by sample sizeFrom 18,000
Claims application analytics reviewFixed packageFrom 12,000

Figures are guidance for Malaysian insurers and TPAs. Complex multi-company books, bilingual file sets, or restricted-access environments increase the estimate.

What changes the quote

  • Number of claim types in scope (motor, medical, property, liability)
  • Length of the period and whether multiple year-ends are included
  • Quality and completeness of extracts from your claims applications
  • Travel days outside Johor Bahru
  • Urgency that requires compressed fieldwork

Deposits and billing

Engagements above MYR 15,000 usually require a 30% commencement deposit. Progress invoices follow agreed milestones; the final invoice is issued with the final report. See our refund and cancellation terms for how deposits are treated if work is postponed or stopped.
