How an engagement runs

From first scope call to final briefing — the path a typical insurance claims accounting engagement follows with our Johor Bahru team.

Designed for claims accounting work

Audits and examinations succeed when access, sampling, and reporting are agreed early. This page sets expectations before you request a scope call.

  1. Enquiry and conflict check — We confirm we are free of conflicts with parties already on your file and ask for a brief description of the portfolio and applications involved.
  2. Scope call — Usually 45–60 minutes. We agree the period, claim types, materiality approach, and whether fieldwork is on site at your premises or from our office at Level 8, 42 Jalan Stesen, Johor Bahru, Johor 80000.
  3. Proposal and commencement — You receive a written scope, fee, timeline, and data request list. Work begins after the signed letter and any commencement deposit.
  4. Fieldwork — Sampling, file reading, posting tests, and extract review. Your coordinator receives a weekly exception log so surprises do not pile up at the end.
  5. Draft and close — Draft findings for factual comment, then a final pack and briefing with claims finance. Optional follow-up days can be booked if you want help clearing suspense items we identified.

What we need from you

A named coordinator, timely extracts from the claims applications in scope, and a decision-maker available for the closing briefing. Delays in file access extend the calendar even when the fee stays fixed.
